Misota Showcases Premium Agricultural Excellence at 3rd Cambodia-UK Joint Trade and Investment Forum

PHNOM PENH, January 29, 2026 — Misota, the Battambang-based leader in fruit processing, was honored to showcase its signature natural dried fruits and organic roselle tea at the 3rd Cambodia-UK Joint Trade and Investment Forum (JTIF). The prestigious event was co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce (MOC) and the British Embassy in Cambodia.

The forum was presided over by H.E. Cham Nimul, Minister of Commerce, and H.E. Dominic Williams, British Ambassador to Cambodia, bringing together senior government officials and business leaders to strengthen bilateral economic ties.

A Proven Commitment to Global Standards
Misota’s participation highlighted its successful trajectory in the British market, supported by its BRCGS Food Safety Grade A certification obtained from Bureau Veritas. This high-level international accreditation has been a cornerstone of Misota’s ability to export to the United Kingdom since 2025, ensuring that Cambodian flavors meet the rigorous safety and quality expectations of British consumers.

Reflecting on a Growing Partnership
The forum served as a poignant reminder of the strengthening ties between Misota and the UK. The company remains deeply grateful for the memory of Ambassador Dominic Williams’ visit to Misota’s food processing plant in Battambang last year. That visit provided a vital opportunity for the Ambassador to witness firsthand Misota’s commitment to sustainable production and its partnership with local farming communities
